New musicals
The Segal Centre is one of the country’s leading development centres for new Canadian musicals. Building on decades of putting on new and traditional Yiddish musicals in collaboration with the Dora Wasserman Yiddish Theatre, the Segal Centre has been commissioning, developing and premiering big, bold musical productions, steadily since 2014. Nearly all of these works have all since toured, been licensed, or gone on to further development.
