Set to the timeless music of The Tragically Hip, It’s a Good Life If You Don’t Weaken immerses audiences in a powerful original story. It captures the raw energy, heartfelt lyrics, and unmistakable spirit that have shaped Canada’s musical identity.

In 2002, an exiled journalist arrives in Canada searching for belonging and a place to call home. He meets Kate, the owner of a local music store, and an unexpected connection begins to reshape both their lives. As their paths intertwine, they are forced to confront distance, duty, and the courage it takes to build a life in a new country.

Featuring iconic songs by The Tragically Hip, including “Bobcaygeon,” “Ahead by a Century,” “New Orleans Is Sinking,” and “Courage.”

Don’t miss this new Canadian musical. You just might find your way home.
