SEGAL GOES TO SCHOOL

Building character and moral development through theatre, this tailor-made high school theatre education program on the themes affecting young people today can be adapted and integrated into any school curriculum as extra-curricular activities and in school educational programming. Inspiring and intriguing the students, the repertoire will explore themes of pride, identity, education and intercultural dialogue, resonating with the contemporary reality our children live in, integrating singing and music, as vehicles of expression and unity.

In addition to the many after-school courses the Academy offers at the Segal Centre, we also offer extra-curricular activities in schools around the city. Our professional instructors can come to your school at lunchtime or after school to lead your students in creative and exhilarating theatre activities and games. Schools we’ve worked with in the past are: St. Georges Elementary, LCC, Akiva, Hebrew Academy, Solomon Schechter Academy and Hebrew Foundation.

This philosophy can be tailored and integrated into any school curriculum.
