HOW TO GET TO THE SEGAL CENTRE FOR PERFORMING ARTS

By Car

5170, chemin de la Côte-Ste-Catherine in Montréal, between Mountain Sights Avenue and Westbury Avenue (there is an accessible entrance located at 5550 Westbury ave).


Parking

FREE PARKING for Segal Centre subscribers in the adjacent YM-YWHA indoor parking lot at 5400 Westbury Avenue upon presentation of your subscriber card.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Sylvan Adams YM-YWHA is getting an upgrade and currently undergoing major renovations. Once it is completed, the Y will become a true rival to all present-day community centers and fitness facilities and will include a new, beautifully designed café with delicious (Kosher) food options. The company is working as quickly as possible but these renovations will affect subscribers access the Segal from the Y parking lot. 

 

Please take note of the following:

  • Subscribers can still use the garage but will have to walk up 2 sets of stairs from the garage and exit outside and walk along Westbury to get to the Segal Centre.
  • The elevator will not be accessible.
  • The hallways leading to the Segal Centre will be closed.
  • We highly recommend that any person with reduced mobility be dropped off at the ramp on Westbury prior to parking.
  • The Hall of Honour and original Y entrance (5480 Westbury) will re-open as the temporary entrance (closer to Segal), but it is not an accessible entrance (7 steps+1 more over the door jamb).

The ramp entrance on the side of the Segal (5550 Westbury) remains the most accessible way for patrons with reduced mobility to enter the Segal Centre.

Parking is readily available on the streets around the Segal Centre for Performing Arts. Please take note of certain restricted hours as indicated on street signs.

By Bixi

There are two Bixi stations close to the Segal Centre: one at Snowdon metro and at the corner of Beaucourt and Côte-Ste-Catherine.


Accessibility For People with Reduced Mobility

People with reduced mobility can access the Segal Centre for Performing Arts through the Westbury Avenue entrance (5550 Wesbury ave). The Sylvan Adams Theatre, the Studio, the Delmar Bar and the Annex buildings are wheelchair accessible.
