COVID PROTOCOLS


As Quebec now has no mask mandate in effect, and as the CNSST have removed any restrictions for performing arts workers, as such face coverings are no longer be required for employees and guests of the Segal Centre except under these specific circumstances:

  • If you’ve tested positive for COVID, you must continue to wear a mask for 10 days following a positive test result.
  • If you live with someone who is positive, you must also wear a mask for 10 days from the date of the positive test of the family member.
  • If you are attending a mandatory masking performance - this will be marked on the show notes when buying your ticket. You will also receive an email reminder about it before your performance. 

The following measures are in place for all individuals arriving on our premises:

  • A “COVID Officer” is on duty at all times ensuring that all safety protocols are being followed
  • Hand sanitizing stations throughout the Segal Centre
  • Increased cleaning, disinfection, and sanitizing of all public areas
  • The air circulation system has been optimized.

 

We continue to recommend the wearing of face coverings and will continue to make them available at our entrances. This policy change will apply to the Academy camps and will remain in place throughout the summer, until further notice. In this ever-evolving context, these policies are subject to change.  This is consistent with the commitments we have made with our artists, staff, and audiences to ensure their safety through to the end of the season.

 

Should you be exhibiting any symptoms, please stay home. Symptoms may include:

  • Fever
  • Sudden loss of smell with no nasal congestion, with or without loss of taste
  • Cough (new or worsening)
  • Shortness of breath
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Sore throat
  • Runny nose nasal congestion (stuffy nose) for no known reason
  • Headache
  • Profound fatigue
  • Muscle aches (not related to physical exertion)
  • Significant loss of appetite
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Stomachache
  • Diarrhea
