The Segal Centre is committed to providing accessible theatre for the Deaf community. We are proud to offer ASL-interpreted performances for three of our productions in the 2019-2020 THEATRE SEASON. Mythic (Saturday, November 16, 8:00 P.M.) Small Mouth Sounds (Saturday, February 29, 8:00 P.M.) & Siberian Summer (Saturday, June 20, 8:00 P.M.)
We are proud to offer discount pricing for all ASL performances which is reserved exclusively for the Deaf community and ASL users. We have also reserved a section of seating where it will be most beneficial to see the performance and watch the ASL interpreters.

The Segal Centre welcomes children, teens, and adults living with disabilities, and mental health conditions. The Segal also welcomes their families and caregivers. We try to make sure our programs, services, and facilities are accessible. If you have questions about accessibility and inclusion or would like to ask for special accommodations, please contact Box Office at 514.739.7944 or boxoffice@segalcentre.org.
The Segal Centre understands that it may be difficult to know who has a disability. We are aware of the discussions regarding the use of Person First Language (PFL). We have decided to use PFL based on the recommendations of experts in accessibility and inclusion. We have also consulted with people within the community. We are aware of the dynamic and changing nature of language. If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at communications@segalcentre.org.
