Broadway Stars | Beginner
Broadway Stars (Beginner) is an introductory musical theatre course offering acting, singing, and dance training through theatre-based exercises, workshops, and games. Students will be introduced to material from popular classical and contemporary Broadway-style shows. The session will culminate with an open class where we invite parents in to see what their children have been learning.
Our overall goals, through the use of art education, are to enhance our student's speaking ability, to create better listening skills, to improve reading comprehension, to increase confidence, to develop a sense of empathy, and to develop a clear understanding of the importance of teamwork.
