This class will offer a unique opportunity for kids who want to delve into the creative process and will include developing skills such as:

1. Scene writing & character creation

In theatre, our whole body is our instrument. How can we use our whole body to tell a character's story? How do our bodies show joy, anger, fear, sadness? And how can we better use these responses to make our audiences laugh or cry?

Join Naomi (Director for Broadway & Beyond) for a workshop series exploring movement, dance and, of course, the body. We'll play, we'll laugh, we'll dive into movement, letting acting take place from every part of us: from our brains all the way down to our feet. We'll explore ways of using the actor's body to better discover a character and their actions. In the theatre, the audience can see our whoooooole body; communicating using that whole body is KEY to a magnificent performance!
