The “Scottish Play” is the most dangerous play in the canon of world drama—most dangerous, it is said, especially for theatre practitioners. In this presentation, Paul Yachnin and Chip Chuipka ask, just what makes the Scottish Play so full of hazard? To answer this question, they stir together theatrical and literary history, and add in a good measure of the bedeviled politics of Shakespeare’s England.
Tickets: $10 for Students, Segal Subscribers & Artists (members of Equity, Musicians Guild, APASQ, UdA);
$18 General Audience or
$72 for the series of 5 lectures
