The Montreal International Yiddish Theatre Festival

In June 2009, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Dora Wasserman Yiddish Theatre, the Segal Centre presented the first-ever Montreal International Yiddish Theatre Festival. Artists and scholars from Poland, Romania, Israel, France, the USA, Australia, Austria, and Canada participated in this historic and enormously successful festival. Learn more by visiting our 2009 Festival page here.

Be sure to join us for another historic celebration when the Segal Centre will once again host 11 unforgettable days of theatre, music, cinema and more. In early 2011 only Segal Theatre subscribers will have the exclusive opportunity to purchase festival passes before they go on sale to the public.
