The MediaWorkshop
The MediaWorkshop provides youth, professional filmmakers and anyone with a passion for film an opportunity to discover the media arts in a dynamic, intimate, hands-on setting.
Using high-definition video equipment and professional editing suites, all the video production programs are taught by experienced filmmakers who inspire participants to create and understand media both as an art form and as a means of social change. Each course focuses on the technology, process and ideas behind film making and each participant will be engaged to use their imagination as they take on the roles of producers, directors and editors in an engaging and professional environment.
A final screening in the Segal Centre’s CinemaSpace will showcase the films produced throughout the courses in the MediaWorkshop.
