By offering a diverse programme of productions and workshops for all ages, featuring artists from across Canada and around the world, the Segal Centre ensures the long-term continuity of activities in Montreal. The new Segal Centre shines the spotlight on artistic excellence in a vibrant and creative space. 

With its brand new facilities on the cutting edge of technology, the Segal Centre for Performing Arts will distinguish itself as a first-class public venue. It will offer many artists an opportunity to give expression to their talent through their art while adding immeasurably to Montréal’s stature and appeal. 

The performing arts is among the oldest modes of expression invented by humanity to express hope, celebrate love, question the meaning of life, or simply to entertain. We owe this long tradition to the capacity of the performing arts to reinvent itself through words as well as through acting, musical accompaniment, and stage direction. The new generation of performing artists is integral to this evolutionary process that continually breathes new life into the culture of our communities.
